Small Things Add Up!
Are you changing your smoke alarm batteries? Does your printer need a new ink cartridge? Just changed a CFL lightbulb? Are you thinking of replacing your old cell phone? Want to discard some out-of-date vitamins, drugs, or medicine?
It is easy to throw out the small stuff instead of making a special trip to Glencoe’s Recycling Center, but this small stuff adds up, and proper disposal makes a big difference. Why not get organized, and place a container or bag in your garage to collect these small items?
When the container is full, drop it off at the Glencoe Public Works Building, 320 Hazel Ave. any week day. Please drop off medicines across the street at Village Hall, 325 Hazel Ave.
The Glencoe Recycling Center also accepts used electronic equipment by appointment. For contact information, click here.
